MadfoatCom was founded in 2011 with a bold vision: to revolutionize how citizens and institutions interact with financial services in Jordan. What began as a fintech startup addressing fragmented payment processes quickly evolved into a national infrastructure enabler.
With the support of the Central Bank of Jordan, MadfoatCom was selected to operate and manage eFAWATEERcom, the national electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) system. This milestone positioned MadfoatCom at the heart of Jordan’s digital transformation, enabling millions of users to pay bills securely and instantly through banks, mobile wallets, and various channels.
Over the years, MadfoatCom has expanded its services and impact:
2014 – Official launch of eFAWATEERcom nationwide
2017 – Recognized as one of the most innovative fintechs in the MENA region
2019 – Partnered with the World Bank and Jordanian government to advance financial inclusion
2020 – Introduced mobile-first innovations and agent models to reach underserved communities
2023 – Launched CSR and community-driven initiatives in rural and refugee-hosting areas through donor-funded employment and upskilling programs (e.g., CFYE, MoDEE)
Today, MadfoatCom is more than a payment platform, it is a driver of inclusive economic growth, empowering youth, women, and underserved communities with access to essential financial and employment services.
